Paula Badosa made her feelings known about her sister, Jana Badosa’s, latest photoshoot with a sweet reaction on social media. The Spaniard is in her off-season, focusing on her appearance for the 2026 tennis season.
Badosa’s last appearance this season on the court was at the China Open, where she couldn’t get past the Round of 32 against Karolina Muchova. She had to retire midway, citing a left hip and thigh injury, giving her opponent a 4-2 win. Shortly after this tournament, she announced the end of her season and is enjoying her time.
Badosa seemed to be spending most of her time with her close ones, as she was seen hyping her sister, Jana, with a three-word reaction on her latest dreamy photoshoot. Resharing the latter’s post on her Instagram story, she penned a message for her that read:
“My beautiful princess @janabadosa💞💞💞💞”

Shortly after her China Open walkover, Paula Badosa went on a Bali vacation with her mother, Mireia, and her sister, Jana. She recently shared an emotional post on her Instagram story of bidding her family goodbye with a picture of the trio hugging each other and a note that read:
“I admit that I hate goodbyes. This year I have felt like the world is falling apart many times but having these two little people always by my side has helped me push through. Thanks for this much needed trip! I love you so much @janabadosa @gibertmireia,” wrote Paula Badosa.
Paula Badosa made her feelings known about not being able to see her sister, Jana, grow up
Earlier this year, in February, Paula Badosa appeared on the Tennis Insider Podcast, where she discussed various aspects of her life, including her sister, Jana. She expressed her feelings about how, because of the hectic tennis schedule, she was not able to spend much time with her family.
“I got used to it (the extensive tennis schedule), but of course, at the beginning of the year, you’re a little bit more excited, but it’s tiring. It’s really tiring, and it gets very intense, and sometimes I miss being home for a while,” Paula Badosa said (29:04 onwards).
Further opening up about how tough it was for her to not spend much time with her sister and miss out on seeing her growing years, Badosa said:
“So, it’s tough. And for me, my people are very important also. So to leave them, I have a little sister that I’m really connected to. So not seeing her (Jana) much or not seeing her grow, it’s tough sometimes.”
Paula Badosa shared a picture on her Instagram story, where she donned a black bikini while posing with Jana and some of her friends on their trip to Indonesia.
