Pereira vs. Gane: “I hope Alex just f****** chins him”

Ciryl Gane is getting another UFC heavyweight title shot and some are not happy about it. The Frenchman lost to Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou previously, and in his last fight, eye poked the champion Tom Aspinall rendering the Brit unable to continue.

Gane now has another tough test in Alex Pereira on the UFC White House card. The Brazilian is aiming to become the first three-division UFC champion with the interim title on the line.

Dillon Danis has trained with Pereira and while speaking to The Schmo, believed this fight should have headlined the card instead of Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje.

However, he also slammed Gane for getting another title shot and didn’t want the Frenchman anywhere near the belt:

“[Pereira] should be main event, he is going for three belts but it’s Ciryl Gane, man. No one wants Ciryl Gane anymore, get that guy out of there. How many times has he been in the f****** title picture?”

Danis also hit out at the UFC’s heavyweight division since it kept on providing Gane with title fights. He also wished a brutal ending for the Frenchman against Pereira:

“Heavyweight is so bad that he is the guy that is always on top, it’s crazy, and he is so boring. I hope Alex just f****** chins him and then three-time world champion.”

When The Schmo said that Pereira would become the first three-division UFC champion, Danis brought up who ‘Poatan’s’ next fight could be:

“Then it would be him and [Tom] Aspinall, I would imagine. I know his style and he will definitely knock out Ciryl Gane.”

Danis added that Pereira would surprise many with his overall game, hinting that there could be some grappling involved, despite the knockout prediction.

He also brought up Gane’s history in big title fights, and how the Frenchman hasn’t performed well when it is showtime:

“I think Ciryl Gane, in big moments, freezes up, like when he fought Jon Jones… so I think Alex is going to surprise him everywhere.”
