Perez Hilton advises Victoria Beckham after son Brooklyn accuses her of dancing “inappropriately” on his wedding ceremony day

Perez Hilton weighed in on the ongoing rift within the Beckham family, specifically addressing tensions between Brooklyn Beckham and his mother, Victoria Beckham. In a January 20 article published on his website, the podcaster offered advice to the former Spice Girls member after Brooklyn accused her of behaving “inappropriately” at his wedding to Nicola Peltz.

For context, the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham shared a lengthy statement on Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19. In the post, he alleged exposed the “truth” about “some of the lies” that had been printed” because of his parents about him and his wife, Nicola Peltz

Addressing Brooklyn’s aforementioned public statement about his family feud, Hilton explained “the eldest Beckham child” had recently come out with “one hell of a response” to all the “feuding” between him and his parents.

“It’s been a WILD ride seeing how social media is responding to all these allegations… And, of course, as social media does — there have been some crazy memes,” Hilton remarked.

The podcaster then explained that one allegation in particular had captured widespread attention online. He noted that Brooklyn’s claim that Victoria had danced “inappropriately” with him during his wedding celebration had become a focal point for meme culture and had taken “meme pages by storm.”

In response to this, Perez Hilton offered blunt advice to Victoria Beckham, suggesting that she could put the rumors to rest by providing proof.

“Victoria Beckham isn’t happy with all the memes that have come out of Brooklyn‘s exposé!…But you know how Victoria can shut all this down? SURELY she has video of it, right? Release the tapes, Vics! If you weren’t dancing inappropriately, it’ll clear your name! At least in that claim,” Hilton said

He further added that fans across social media platforms had been circulating clips and satirical content centered on their take of Victoria on Brooklyn’s wedding day.” According to Hilton, the sheer volume of memes had “absolutely devastated” Victoria.

Citing a January 20 report from The US Sun, Hilton also shared insight into how Victoria was allegedly coping with the backlash.

“Victoria is really embarrassed now she’s being mocked online, it’s just devastating to her.” Perez Hilton added, citing the source.

As per a People Magazine report dated January 20, Brooklyn Beckham publicly addressed his long-running family feud with parents David and Victoria Beckham, claiming he had “no choice” but to speak out after years of remaining silent.

On Monday, January 19, Brooklyn shared a lengthy statement via his Instagram Stories, confirming the existence of deep-seated tensions within the Beckham family and outlining what he described as years of emotional strain, manipulation, and public misrepresentation involving his parents and, indirectly, his siblings.

In his statement, Brooklyn explained that he had deliberately avoided speaking publicly for years in an effort to protect his privacy and keep family matters out of the media. However, he said, continued press leaks attributed to his parents and their team forced him to finally address what he described as false narratives.

“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” he wrote.

Brooklyn then addressed speculation surrounding reconciliation, clarifying that his decision to speak out was not influenced by anyone else and was a personal act of self-assertion. He emphasized that his silence should not be mistaken for control or coercion, stating:

“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

He went on to elaborate on what he described as lifelong media manipulation, saying his parents had consistently shaped public narratives about their family.

According to Brooklyn, performative online behavior, highly curated family appearances, and what he called “inauthentic relationships” had long been central to the public image he was born into.

He further added that he had recently witnessed the “lengths” his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, would allegedly go to in order to place “countless lies in the media” to preserve their public facade, often at the expense of innocent people.

The eldest son of the Beckham family further claimed that his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, had been a major source of conflict.

Noting that “the truth always comes out,” he alleged that David and Victoria Beckham had been trying “endlessly” to damage his relationship with Peltz since before their April 2022 wedding.

He cited specific incidents, including an allegation that Victoria Beckham canceled designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment, despite Nicola’s excitement, forcing her to urgently find an alternative.

He also alleged that he was repeatedly pressured and even bribed into signing away the rights to his own name ahead of the Florida wedding.

According to Brooklyn, members of his family told him the night before the ceremony that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family,” claiming his refusal to comply affected a financial “payday” and permanently altered how he was treated afterward.

He further alleged that Victoria Beckham once called him “evil” during wedding planning because he and Nicola chose to seat their grandmothers, Nanny Sandra and Nicola’s Naunni, at their table due to both women not having their husbands present.

David Beckham’s eldest son also confirmed another deeply upsetting wedding moment involving the couple’s first dance.

Brooklyn recalled that Marc Anthony called him onstage for what was meant to be a romantic dance with his wife, only for Victoria Beckham to instead be waiting to dance with him.

He explained:

“In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me…She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everybody. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

Although he did not directly name his siblings, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, he accused the Beckham family of prioritizing image and branding above genuine relationships.

He claimed that “brand Beckham” came “first” and that family “love” was measured by social media performance, attendance at press events, and willingness to participate in public photo opportunities, even at the expense of professional commitments.

He further alleged that despite years of showing up to fashion shows, parties, and press activities to portray a “perfect family,” his mother, Victoria Beckham, refused to support Nicola’s request to help displaced dogs during the Los Angeles fires.

Brooklyn also rejected claims that his wife controlled him, calling that narrative “completely backward.”

Brooklyn reflected on the emotional toll of his upbringing, saying he had lived most of his life under parental control and with overwhelming anxiety.

“For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief…My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family,” he added.

So far, neither David nor Victoria Beckham has shared any official statement in response to Brooklyn’s claims.
