Personal Update: Liv Morgan Ahead of WrestleMania 42

WWE Superstar Liv Morgan is set to compete at WrestleMania Night One in a Women’s World Championship match. Ahead of The Show of Shows, The Miracle Kid shared a personal update for fans.

Morgan punched her ticket to ‘Mania after winning this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match. She then chose to face Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, and the two stars have been going after each other since then. The two rivals have continued to assault each other on Monday Night RAW and cut intense promos.

This will be Morgan’s eighth ‘Mania bout. When asked during an appearance on ESPN First Take what it will take for this year’s Show of Shows to be her favorite, Morgan said it has been 11 years in the making and that she’s earned this opportunity. The Judgment Day member also revealed that her entire family will be in attendance at Allegiant Stadium to watch her compete at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

“Honestly, I feel like this is 11 years in the making. For me, I know, I’ve earned this opportunity. So this is my favorite already. My whole entire family will be in attendance, but winning will cement this as the greatest WrestleMania of all time, said Liv Morgan.

Liv Morgan inadvertently shoved Cathy Kelley on WWE RAW this week

The go-home episode of RAW before WrestleMania delivered one of the most chaotic moments of the entire build. Cathy Kelley was interviewing Stephanie Vaquer when Liv Morgan launched a blindsided attack, crashing into both Vaquer and the backstage interviewer and leaving Kelley visibly shaken and on the floor.

Michael Cole immediately addressed the situation on commentary, stating that Cathy had been attended to by the trainers and that it looks like everything is going to be fine.

Even @catherinekelley got caught in the FIGHT between @YaOnlyLivvOnce and @Steph_Vaquer 😳 Let’s all wish her a speedy recovery!

The collision was completely unintentional on Morgan’s part. She stormed the ring looking for La Primera, and Kelley was in the wrong place. WWE confirmed that Kelley was shaken but not injured, and the entire segment served as a reminder of how volatile this rivalry has become.

It will be interesting to see who walks out as the WWE Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 42 Saturday.
