Kansas Metropolis Police have reported photographs fired at Union Station, the fruits level of the Chiefs Tremendous Bowl parade.

“Shots have been fired around Union Station,” the Kansas Metropolis Police Division’s official X account posted at 3:02 p.m. ET. “Please leave the area.”

Police held individuals inside Union Station because the officers tried to clear the realm and determine the variety of capturing victims. Everybody has since been launched.

“Shots were fired west of Union Station near the garage and multiple people were struck,” the account updated a number of minutes later. “We took two armed people into custody for more investigation.

“Anyone nearby needs to leave the area as quickly and safely as possible to facilitate treatment of the shooting victims. Please avoid the Union Station parking garage area to allow first responders through.”

In response to NFL Community correspondent James Palmer, the media was escorted away from the station after being advised to get below the stage. Information-Press sports activities director Jacob Meikel additionally recognized that army personnel have been current within the response to the Union Corridor capturing.
