A popular WWE star threatened to fight Adam Pearce in order to gain a title shot ahead of this week’s episode of RAW. Tonight’s show will air live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
Danhausen approached RAW General Manager Adam Pearce ahead of tonight’s show with an interesting request. The former AEW star noted that Gunther was given a World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam 2026 after defeating SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and wondered if he would receive a title shot if he beat up Adam Pearce.
Thanks for the submission!
The RAW GM informed Danhausen that would not be the case and suggested that he try to start a rivalry with Nick Aldis instead. You can check out the humorous conversation in the post below.
“So, if Danhausen beats you up, does Danhausen get a championship match on RAW?” he asked.
The Very Nice, Very Evil star defeated Dominik Mysterio in a Human Monies on a Pole match at SummerSlam. Kevin Owens defeated Gunther, Sami Zayn, and Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way match at the PLE earlier this month to become the number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Owens will be challenging CM Punk for the title on this Friday’s episode of SmackDown in Toronto.
Adam Pearce confirms huge WWE title match for tonight’s episode of RAW
Adam Pearce confirmed a massive title match earlier this week for tonight’s episode of WWE RAW.
The RAW GM shared a video on social media over the weekend and confirmed that Chad Gable would be putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line tonight against Rey Mysterio. Gable defeated Penta at SummerSlam to capture his first singles title on the main roster.
“Breaking news: live tomorrow night on the flagship in Buffalo, Chad Gable will put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against the Hall of Famer and the greatest luchador of all time, Rey Mysterio! That is right, it is Gable versus Rey, live tomorrow night in Buffalo,” said Pearce.
Nick Aldis got a standing ovation from the WWE Universe following his loss to Gunther at SummerSlam, as it was the SmackDown GM’s first match in three years. Only time will tell if Pearce ever decides to return to the ring.
