The Philadelphia Eagles faced the Chicago Bears in Week 3 of the season. Before the start of the game at Soldier Field, fans were treated to a unique experience.
NFL insider Ari Meirov shared a video from the Eagles vs. Bears game. A mariachi band called Mariachi Herencia de México performed the national anthem before this Week 3 showdown. This was done to honor and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

The Eagles entered Monday’s game with a 2-0 record. Last week, they secured a 24-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans. In that game, quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 26-of-37 passes for 264 yards, two TDs, two INTs and three sacks.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears are 1-1 after last week’s 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Caleb Williams also suffered a Grade 2 hamstring injury late in the fourth quarter and has been benched for Monday’s showdown against the Eagles. Coach Ben Johnson named Case Keenum as the starting QB for this game against the Eagles.
NFL analyst shares his thoughts on the Eagles’ offense ahead of Week 3 showdown vs. the Bears
Nick Sirianni and the Eagles made several changes to the offense this offseason. They traded A.J. Brown to the Patriots and also signed Sean Mannion as the new offensive coordinator. In addition, they signed Hollywood Brown, Makai Lemon and Dontayvion Wicks to bolster the wide receiver room.
On Monday’s episode of “Good Morning Football,” former NFL quarterback-turned-analyst Kurt Warner shared his thoughts on the impact of A.J. Brown’s departure on the team.
“When you say good or bad, locker room stuff, you’ve seen that,” Warner said. “You don’t have that anymore. So maybe that’s a good thing. On the field though, I believe it hurts them just simply because, you’re always looking for that dawg in your X receiver. … They’re missing that.
“Jalen Hurts is always looking, ‘Hey, when I knew I had A.J. Brown back there, didn’t matter what route we had, I knew that he could win.’ And it just makes the game easier for any quarterback. And so, that’s something, as they’re transitioning to Sean Mannion and what they’re doing offensively, it hasn’t looked really smooth.”
Last season, the Eagles finished with an 11-6 record. They made the playoffs but lost to the 49ers in a wild-card showdown.
