India pacer Prince Yadav claimed his first wicket of the game by dismissing England opener Ben Duckett after his record-breaking century in the third and final ODI of the three-match series. The contest is being played on Sunday, July 19, at Lord’s in London.
The dismissal came on the third ball of the 44th over of England’s innings. Prince bowled a short off-pace delivery into the deck, and the left-hander attempted to swat it across the line but only managed to toe-end it straight back to the bowler, who completed the catch.

Duckett scored 141 off 135 balls, smashing 18 fours and a six to register the highest individual score at Lord’s in ODIs. He surpassed Viv Richards’ unbeaten 138 off 157 balls, scored against England in the 1979 World Cup final.
Ben Duckett’s stunning century puts England on course for a commanding total
Opting to bat first, England openers Jacob Bethell and Ben Duckett got off to a strong start, adding 58 runs in the powerplay. The duo continued to dominate, with Bethell bringing up his half-century off 51 balls in the 16th over as England reached 125/0 after 20 overs. Duckett then completed his fifty off 64 balls in the 22nd over.
The pair eventually added 192 runs off 181 balls for the opening wicket before Bethell missed out on a century, falling for 91 off 93 balls to Prasidh Krishna in the 31st over. Joe Root then walked in at No. 3 and, alongside Ben Duckett, kept the momentum going.
The southpaw went on to score 141 off 135 balls before being dismissed by Prince Yadav, an innings that included 18 fours and a six. During his stay, Duckett and Root added 101 runs off 80 balls for the second wicket. Meanwhile, Root continued his fine run of form by bringing up yet another half-century. At the time of writing, after 46 overs, England were 315/2, with Root unbeaten on 50 off 39 balls and Harry Brook batting on 10 off nine balls.
