A former WWE star, who got released from the company last year, was backstage on this week’s Dynamite, according to a report. The star has been performing on the independent scene since the release.
The released WWE Superstar, Priscilla Kelly (fka Gigi Dolin) was reportedly backstage on AEW Dynamite. The 28-year-old star was released from the Stamford-based promotion in May 2025 after four years in the company. She has been wrestling regularly on the indies since her departure as well.
Meanwhile, a new report by Fightful Select revealed Priscilla Kelly’s AEW presence. According to the report, Priscilla was backstage during Dynamite this week, along with many other wrestlers. It has not been detailed what the purpose of Kelly being on Tony Khan‘s promotion’s flagship show is.
Interestingly, the erstwhile Gigi Dolin has wrestled once in All Elite Wrestling on an episode of Dynamite back in 2020, where she was defeated by Britt Baker in a singles encounter.
Released WWE Superstar wants to go to AEW
The released WWE Superstar, Priscilla Kelly recently expressed her desire to join AEW. During an interview with Denise Salcedo from November 2025, the erstwhile Gigi Dolin said she wants to go to All Elite Wrestling in 2026, as there is stuff left on the table:
“But I think going into — coming out of this year and going into 2026 — I think I, I don’t know. I think I’d really like to maybe go to AEW. I think there’s, I think there’s a lot of stuff that was left on the table. I did some stuff for AEW before I got signed to WWE and I don’t know, I just always felt like there was something left on the table over there and I never got to really have my time,” Kelly said.
It will be interesting to see if Tony Khan offers Priscilla Kelly an All Elite contract months after her release from the Stamford-based promotion.
