A Reuters ballot of 70 economists says:
- BOE to carry the financial institution price at 5.25% after they subsequent meet on February 1
- The central financial institution is to chop financial institution price to five% in Q2 of 2024. That’s quicker than the Q3 minimize from the December ballot.
- UK financial system to increase at 0.4% in 2024, 1.2% in 2025 (identical because the December ballot)
