Ric Flair has opened up on why he doesn’t attend WWE shows anymore. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer was under a contract with the sports entertainment giant till 2021 and has since appeared for other promotions.
He is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) but was recently in the news for a different reason. During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, he mentioned that he was banned from attending WrestleMania 42 because he threatened to beat up Tiffany Stratton’s ex-boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser after a heated promo between the Buff Barbie and Flair’s daughter, Charlotte, last year.
Thanks for the submission!
While that story is still doing rounds, The Nature Boy has addressed another grievance with WWE. He appeared for an interview on The Thanalysis Show and was asked whether he would be going to WrestleMania 43 next year.
Flair addressed this and talked about why he doesn’t attend WWE events anymore.

“Yeah, I’ll go. My daughter will be going. I don’t go to shows anymore because I’m really not happy with the way they’re using her right now,” he said.
The 16-time World Champion said he understood the situation since the promotion is investing a lot in NXT, its developmental system.
Earlier, during the interview with Ariel Helwani, the legend said he didn’t like his daughter’s match at WrestleMania 42 at all. Charlotte teamed up with Alexa Bliss to take on The Irresistable Forces, Bayley & Lyra Valkyria, and Brie Bella & Paige in a Fatal Four-Way match for the women’s tag team championship.
Ric Flair apologized to Ludwig Kaiser
On The Ariel Helwani Show, Ric Flair recalled his beef with Ludwig Kaiser. He said he left Kaiser a threatening voicemail after the feud between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton got personal last year.
He also mistook the German star for being English and said he would be a “fly on the wall” in a year. However, the wrestling icon has since apologized for his comments.
In a post on X, Ric Flair acknowledged the work Kaiser is doing in AAA under WWE’s banner and said his outburst had more to do with him being a protective father rather than it being anything about his skill as an in-ring talent. He apologized and wished the star continued success.
