WWE Superstar Royce Keys has yet to make an in-ring appearance on television since his debut at the Royal Rumble 2026. However, the star has been tearing it up inside the squared circle despite his absence from TV.
Royce Keys was better known as Powerhouse Hobbs in All Elite Wrestling. The star left the Tony Khan-led promotion in January 2026 and, a few days later, debuted in WWE at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. Many expected that the Triple H-led creative team might have planned big things for the star on the Road to WrestleMania 42. However, since his debut at the Rumble, Keys hasn’t wrestled even a single match on TV.
Thanks for the submission!
Despite his absence from the Stamford-based promotion’s weekly programming, Royce Keys has been dominating his opponents in dark matches. The former AEW star has won 9 consecutive bouts till now, with his latest win coming against Brutus Creed in a dark match ahead of the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.
A fan recently took to X/Twitter to upload a clip of Keys’ entrance for his match against Creed. Check out the clip in the post below:
Dutch Mantell is not a fan of Royce Keys’ name change in WWE
During his WWE debut in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, it was announced that Powerhouse Hobbs would now be known as Royce Keys in the company.
During an edition of Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the veteran said that he didn’t know why the TKO-led promotion had to change Powerhouse Hobbs’ name to Royce Keys, as he believed it didn’t suit him.
“I don’t get it. I mean, if I hear the name now, I’ll say, I don’t know, you know, because you always have your doubts. I thought Powerhouse Hobbs was an okay name, especially the Powerhouse. You could have anything as a last name, but Royce Keys, give him two weeks, three weeks, and it’ll fit him, for some reason. I don’t know why that is.”
Many fans are eagerly waiting to see Royce Keys on WWE TV. It will be interesting to see what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for the star’s future.
