South Korean actress Jang Ga-hyun has won over BTS fans after openly sharing her admiration for Jimin during a recent appearance on TV Chosun’s variety programme Perfect Life. Her candid remarks quickly spread across social media, with many fans relating to her enthusiasm.
Jang Ga-hyun appeared on the episode 5 of Perfect Life alongside her daughter, Jo Ye-eun, where the pair offered viewers a glimpse into their daily lives. During the broadcast, the actress revealed that watching BTS’s Jimin’s videos had become part of her morning routine.
As cameras followed the start of her day, the actress was seen watching a video featuring the BTS member. Reacting to the scene, television personality Lee Sung-mi remarked that Jang Ga-hyun appeared completely captivated by Jimin. Laughing, the actress agreed and jokingly described herself as suffering from “Jimin-itis.”
She went on to explain just how much she enjoys the singer, saying that she feels like a young girl whenever she comes across anything related to him.
“I’m crazy about Jimin. Whenever anything related to him comes up, I become like a little girl,” she said during the programme.
Following the episode’s broadcast, Jang Ga-hyun continued to express her admiration for the singer by sharing a screenshot from the show on Threads. In the accompanying caption, she wrote that she wished the whole world knew about Jimin, praising him as “cute,” “sexy,” and “amazing.” She also revealed that he was the first celebrity she had genuinely become a fan of since legendary South Korean musician Seo Taiji.
Her heartfelt comments quickly resonated with BTS fans online. Many praised the actress for speaking so openly about her admiration, while others said her excitement mirrored their own feelings toward the singer. One fan commented,
“She is so us.”
Others echoed similar sentiments, saying they saw themselves in Jang Ga-hyun, noting that they reacted the same way whenever it came to to the idol.
Others welcomed Jang into the fandom, saying Jimin’s charm was impossible to resist. Several fans playfully remarked that the actress had joined countless others who admired Jimin.
BTS’ ARIRANG World Tour rolls on with surprise songs and sold-out Foxborough shows
Meanwhile, Jimin is currently touring with BTS as part of the group’s ARIRANG World Tour. The band has recently taken the stage at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on August 5, continuing the North American leg of the tour. The group delivers a setlist featuring 23-song setlist that combines tracks from the group’s newest album with some of its signature hits from earlier eras.
A highlight of the tour has been the rotating surprise-song segment, which changes at every show. At the August 5 concert, the group performed Paradise from their 2018 album Love Yourself 轉 ‘Tear‘ alongside No More Dream, the lead track from their 2013 debut album 2 COOL 4 SKOOL.
BTS will return to the Gillette Stadium once again on August 5. Following that they will head to Baltimore for their August 10 and 11 performances at M&T Bank Stadium.
