South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Says it is Time for Republicans to Unite Behind Trump | The Gateway Pundit

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem thinks it’s time for Republicans to unite and again Donald Trump for president.

Noem has been a powerful supporter of Trump for years and has even been floated as a potential working mate for Trump. She has mentioned that she is open to the thought and would contemplate it if he requested her.

The rationale she is urging Republicans to unite now could be as a result of the Iowa Caucuses are already approaching rapidly.

Kristi Noem: It’s ‘Time to Unite Behind President Trump’

It’s time for Republicans to “unite behind President Trump,” South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) mentioned on Monday, practically a month forward of the Iowa caucuses.

“We were told that as the [Republican primary] field shrinks, the polls would narrow,” Noem started, repeating the narrative touted by supporters of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

“Well… the field has been shrinking, and support for President Trump has been growing, now sitting at over 50% (Up from 43% in Oct),” she continued.

“It’s time to unite behind President Trump and focus all our efforts and resources on defeating Joe Biden,” she added:

Noem linked to a narrative from the Des Moines Register, detailing the outcomes of the most recent Des Moines Register/NBC Information/Mediacom Iowa Ballot, which reveals Trump on the high of the pack within the Hawkeye State, garnering 51 p.c help. That displays an eight-point improve for the previous president since October, and it comes as a number of candidates have dropped out of the race, together with former Vice President Mike Pence, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

Noem endorsed Trump for president in September.

Her level about Republicans uniting is a legitimate one. We are going to quickly see the way it goes.
