Stellar Real Madrid Away Kit Headlines Recent Launches from Spain, Rest of Europe – SportsLogos.Net News

The stars of Real Madrid will be shining bright in their new away kit for 2024-25, made by Adidas.

The Spanish giants unveiled the kits on Monday, July 22, in preparation for the upcoming La Liga season. The shirt is mainly orange, with a tonal “abstract, astral graphic” on the front and sleeves. The star-shaped design “takes its inspiration from the stars that appear in the sky on the nights outside the Santiago Bernabéu,” the club says on its website. “Created with the idea that no matter where the team is playing, madridistas are always joined together by the stars in the sky.”

The kit is also a nod to the 2013-14 Real Madrid squad, which also wore an orange third kit. This team won Real’s 10th UEFA Champions League title and the Copa del Rey while finishing third in La Liga, behind Atlético de Madrid and FC Barcelona.

Accents on the jersey like the collar, Adidas shoulder stripes, club crest and sponsor logos are a very dark blue, which appears almost black. The only splash of white is a stripe through the middle of the collar.

Real Madrid play three preseason friendly matches in the United States in the first week of August before returning to Europe to face UEFA Europa League champions Atalanta BC from Italy in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14 in Warsaw, Poland.

🇮🇹 INTER MILAN – Home

Stars are also the inspiration behind defending Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan’s home kit for 2024-25, made by Nike. Inter added a second gold star above its crest this year thanks to its 20th Serie A title in 2023-24. To celebrate, the club crest is rendered in gold and sits in the center of the chest, while the scudetto on the left chest contains an embossed “20” and an Inter crest. Names of the back of the shirt are white with a gold outline, while the numbers have the gold outline and a gold pattern inside.

The shirts themselves have Inter’s traditional blue and black stripes on the right side, but shift to a pattern of diagonal stripes on the left side. That pattern continues on to the left side of the shorts. The sleeve cuffs are split diagonally between black and blue, and gold stripes taper under the arms. This is the first Inter jersey with new front-of-shirt sponsor Bettson Sport, whose logo appears in white.

ASTON VILLA – Home

English Premier League side Aston Villa and Adidas are fast out of the gates with their first kit together, Villa’s home kit for 2024-25. The kit combines Villa’s traditional claret base with light blue raglan sleeves that contain claret Adidas shoulder stripes. The collar has claret and light blue stripes most of the way around, save for a solid claret front. Aston Villa’s 150th anniversary logo is printed in gold on the back collar. This is also Villa’s first kitwith new front-of-shirt sponsor Betano and with their new club crest.

🇪🇸 REAL VALLADOLID – Home

Back in La Liga after a season, Spanish side Real Valladolid are wearing their resilience on their sleeves with their 2024-25 home kit made by Kappa. The front of the shirt features Valladolid’s traditional purple and white vertical stripes, with darker narrow stripes within each white stripe. The raglan sleeves are purple, and the whole shirt is covered in a tonal chevron pattern. The crew neck collar and sleeve cuffs are black with white and purple stripes through the middle.

🇪🇸 GIRONA FC – Third

Elsewhere in Spain, Girona FC keep the purple theme rolling with their 2024-25 third kit, made by Puma. The base of the kit is a pastel purple, with darker purple accents like the side panels, sponsor logos and the front half of the V-neck collar. The club crest is also rendered in monochromatic purple.

🇪🇸 CA OSASUNA – Third

After unveiling an away kit inspired by a nearby nature reserve, Spanish La Liga side CA Osasuna are honoring another local landmark with their 2024-25 third kit, made my Macron. The brick pattern at the top of the black kit is a reference to the walls of the Citadel of Pamplona, which was constructed as a “defensive bastion against external attacks” between the 16th and 17th centuries, but today hosts cultural events and performances. The collar and sleeve cuffs are solid black, while a grey stripe runs around the back hem.

🇩🇪 BORUSSIA DORTMUND – Cup Kit

Every year, German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund release a special home kit for use in cup competitions like the DFB-Pokal and UEFA Champions League, and the 2024-25 version, made by Puma, takes inspiration from past years — quite literally. The cup kit design takes various elements and striping patterns of home kit designs over the past 10 years or so and combines them into one. Dortmund wore the kit for the first time in a 4-0 loss on Saturday to BG Pathum United of Thailand.

🇫🇷 STADE RENNAIS – Away

Meanwhile in France, Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais pays tribute to the architecture of its home region with its 2024-25 home kit, made by Puma. The pattern of light and medium grey shapes running horizontally across the front of the shirt highlights Rennes’ “flagship and iconic architecture.” Black accents include the V-neck collar, sleeve cuffs and diagonal stripes in the side panels. The back is solid white, while sponsor logos appear in black.

Juste pour rire! French Ligue 1 side Toulouse FC tried to pull a fast one on their fast fans this week, first unveiling a blue Nike away kit for 2024-25 before unveiling the actual yellow kit just hours later. The real away kit features a tonal print with solid shapes, stripes and a pattern of interlocking circles and flowers.
