After I was in class, I had a buddy who was a incredible athlete (she nonetheless is). She was tall, skinny, wore her hair quick and will sustain with any of the fellows in fitness center class and outperform 90 % of them in nearly any sport. She didn’t put on make-up and her wardrobe consisted largely of gender-neutral athletic attire. We performed on just a few groups collectively and, as soon as the opposite workforce (and, sadly, their dad and mom) realized how superior her athletic talents have been, the taunts inevitably would start. “Is that a BOY they have playing out there?” “Are we sure this team is ALL girls?” It wounded her, deeply, and her teammates watched, helpless, as her vanity took hit after hit after hit.
