The failed vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz is openly rooting against American manufacturing.
Walz, who remains the governor of Minnesota, told an audience on Tuesday that seeing a decline in Tesla’s stock price makes him happy.
“I don’t know if some of you know this on the iPhone; they’ve got that little stock app,” Walz said in what appeared to be some sort of comedic routine.
”I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day. $2.25 and dropping!
”And if you own one, if you own one, we’re not blaming you. You can take dental floss and pull the Tesla thing off, you know, just telling you.”

After reaching record highs in the wake of President Trump’s historic victory, Tesla’s share price has slipped back in recent weeks as the left-wing establishment ramped up their attacks against Elon Musk and his companies.
Nevertheless, the company is still valued at more than the next five car companies combined, with an estimated market value of $750 billion.
Last week, President Trump said he would start classifying attacks against Tesla vehicles and dealerships as a form of domestic terrorism.
Elon Musk is currently heading up the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is working to root out the widespread waste and fraud across the federal government.

Despite the humiliating defeat he suffered alongside Kamala Harris in November, Walz remains more belligerent than ever and is reportedly considering his own presidential run in 2028.
In an appearance on Gavin Newsom’s podcast this week, tough guy Walz claimed he could beat up most Trump supporters.
“You got to respect people you disagree with,” Newsom said. “You can’t just dismiss people.”
“How do we fight it?” Walz retorted. “I think I could kick most of their a**es!”
