Teenage overseas alternate pupil from China ‘forcefully’ kidnapped in Utah: police

Police are looking for a 17-year-old overseas alternate pupil who they imagine was “forcefully taken” from the house he was sharing together with his host household in Utah.

In a press convention on Friday, Riverdale Police Chief Casey Warren mentioned that authorities imagine that Kai Zhuang, an alternate pupil from China, was “forcefully taken” and is “being held against his will.”

Authorities mentioned that Zhuang was final seen at about 3:30 a.m. on Thursday and police have been notified of his disappearance by 8:30 p.m. that evening. 

The student was described as 5-feet-9, 150 kilos with black hair and black eyes.

Police despatched an endangered lacking individual advisory on Friday after the division acquired a name from Zhuang’s native highschool saying that they’d heard from his involved parents in China.

Zhuang’s frantic dad and mom claimed that they acquired a photograph of their son together with a ransom letter, Chief Warren mentioned.

Riverdale police say they’re working with the FBI, the US Embassy in China and Chinese language officers to find the lacking juvenile.

No suspect has been recognized right now.
