The current president will be missing in action, as Donald Trump will participate in a ceremony at the Pentagon, then fly to his private golf club in Ireland at taxpayers’ expense to attend a golf tournament.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani will lead the annual 9/11 memorial service in New York. Vice President JD Vance is expected to attend, as are former Presidents Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. So is former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The 80-year-old president is apparently too tired from giving back-to-back speeches in Dallas that the country apparently ignored in favor of watching the NFL season kick off to do his job.
It looks really bad for a sitting president to basically barely show up on 9/11.
What makes Trump look even worse is how former President and First Lady Obama have stepped up.
