Trick Williams has called out a WWE Hall of Famer for his first match in 5306 days. If this match takes place, the return is going to be legendary.
Williams is the current United States Champion and is one of the rising upstarts in the company. He has been on the rise ever since his move from NXT and is well on his way to becoming the top stars. From his time in NXT, there have been rumblings about him having a match with Booker T.

The WWE Hall of Famer last had a singles match 5306 days ago when he took on Cody Rhodes and lost on an episode of SmackDown on January 6, 2012. Williams was speaking at Fanatics Fest when he addressed the situation and said that if Booker T wants one more match, then it should be with him.
“Word through the grapevine is Booker T wants one more match. He said he wants one more match, and I think it’s only right, it’s only fitting, that his last match is with the man he helped mould into the superstar he is today. I was thinking what better time than the present. How would y’all like to see Booker T vs. the Anointed One Trick Williams?” [7:23 – 7:54]
The last match Booker T was a part of which was not a singles match came at the Royal Rumble match in 2023.
Booker T responds to Trick Williams challenge
In the immediate aftermath of the challenge, the former WCW Champion appeared on his Hall of Fame podcast and responded.
Booker T said that when it comes to a match with Trick Williams, he will never say never as he won’t be closing a book on any chapter of his life just yet. He also reiterated that if his body will let him, then he will have one final match against Trick Williams.
He also pointed out that he will see how he will be doing in the gym and whether or not he thinks he still has it in him. He closed out by saying that he is serious about this and will give real thought in the near future.
