Former UFC heavyweight fighter Andrei Arlovski confronted and got into a brawl with YouTuber Jack Doherty and his entourage in the aftermath of the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua clash.
The clash allegedly unfolded after someone from Doherty’s group bumped into Arlovski. UFC broadcast analyst Din Thomas reacted to the incident recently and claimed that he would have gone “to war” alongside Arlovski.
He criticized the young men involved for either not recognizing Arlovski or intentionally provoking him. Speaking in a recent appearance on Submission Radio, Thomas said:
“I saw that, and I replayed it in my head a million times as if I was there, and I would have went to war with Andrei on these kids. Andrei is a brother, a UFC brother. He is a UFC Hall of Famer, and I would not have allowed these kids to even look at him the way they did. If I saw Andrei turn and swing, I would have swung right with him, because I would never let that happen to one of my UFC brothers.”

He added:
“Either they knew who he was and targeted him, or they did not know who he was at all. If they did not know who he was, shame on them. Shame on them for being in the combat sports world and not knowing one of the greatest heavyweights we have seen. My very first fight in the UFC was June 29, 2001, at UFC 32. Andrei Arlovski was on that card, and he has been active and is still active to this day. And for them kids to not know who he was, if that is the case, shame on them. They deserve a beatdown just for that.”

Andrei Arlovski clarifies backstage incident with Jack Doherty
Andrei Arlovski provided his side of the altercation with Jack Doherty and his entourage at the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua boxing event.
Arlovski explained that the confrontation began when members of Doherty’s group intentionally bumped into him while he was with his family. One bodyguard approached aggressively, prompting Arlovski to defend himself and stop the threat.
Shedding light and replying to a fan question regarding the incident, he said:
“First of all, I didn’t beat anyone, I just stopped the threat. They were threatening me, my wife, my kid, and I had another friend [there]. I did what I was supposed to do, what every man is supposed to do. Stop the threat. I didn’t beat them. I just stopped the threat. I guess because they were looking for content for their website, and I guess I was the victim. They thought maybe it was going to be easy content for YouTube. Maybe that’s why. Maybe I’m old. Maybe because it was three idiots and a big bodyguard.”
