After testing it out over the last month, Threads is now rolling out the option to add up to five links to your in-app bio, as another means to enhance its appeal to creators and publishers.

As you can see in these example screens, now, you’ll be able to add multiple links to your Threads profile. Up until now, you’ve only been able to add a single link that’s then displayed below your bio field in the app.
Which will be a welcome addition for anyone trying to use the app to boost their business, facilitating more options to generate direct leads from the app.
Instagram added the same functionality back in 2023, which has been a blessing for creators, in particular, as they look to drive more interest from their in-app presence.
Threads is also adding new link analytics features, so you can see how many clicks you’re generating from the app.

As you can see in this example, you’ll now be able to see which of your link posts are generating the most interest.
Finally, Threads has added a new weekly recap to its Insights element, which will include a week-over-week comparison of the number of posts that you’ve shared, total views, new follower count, and replies on your posts.
Also:
“You’ll also start seeing personalized tips that can help inspire new ways to engage your community.”
Some valuable updates for creators, which could help to make Threads a more important tool for reaching an audience. Which is what social media platforms used to provide, before they shifted their focus to keeping users in their apps above all else.
Now, it seems that Meta’s looking to get back in the good books of publishers in particular, though given its history of giving reach, then taking it away, I’m not sure many will be keen to build too much reliance on the app.
But as a complementary connector, these are some handy changes.
