The football preseason is winding to a close, which means it’s the perfect time to lock in all of your NFL future player prop bets before the action kicks off.
Maybe you’re banking on rookies to reshape a team. Perhaps there are some under-the-radar veterans still capable of putting up major numbers.
Here are three NFL future player prop bets worth taking a look at before Week 1 kicks off on Sept. 4. All odds are via FanDuel Sportsbook.
Jerry Jeudy OVER 875.5 Receiving Yards
The Cleveland Browns named Joe Flacco their Week 1 starting quarterback against the Cincinnati Bengals. That’s remarkable news for Jeudy, who is far and away the top receiving option in a suspect Browns offense.
With Flacco at the helm, Jeudy should have an opportunity to pile up big yards early. Last season, he caught 90 passes for a career-best 1,229 yards and four touchdowns. His quarterbacks were Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston and Dorian Thompson-Robinson.
A year ago, the Browns’ offense was anything but competent under offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Watson was one of the worst quarterbacks in the history of the league. But when Winston got action? Jeudy flourished.
There’s almost no world where Flacco starts all 17 games, but last year proved that as long as somebody competent is slinging it, Jeudy can eclipse 1,000 yards. He’s quite literally the only receiver worth a damn on the entire roster right now.

D.K. Metcalf OVER 925.5 Receiving Yards
We’re taking the over on Metcalf for the same reason as Jeudy. Who are Pittsburgh’s other pass-catching options?
Future first-ballot Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been known to elevate average wideouts. The Steelers traded away George Pickens, signaling that Metcalf is going to be a huge piece of Arthur Smith’s offense.
Pickens put up 900 yards in 14 games last year with Justin Fields and Russell Wilson as his quarterbacks. Assuming Metcalf stays healthy, Rodgers is a big-time upgrade and should be able to feed the rock to Metcalf, who was just eight yards shy of 1,000 with the Seattle Seahawks last season.

TreVeyon Henderson OVER 700.5 Rushing Yards
The New England Patriots invested a top-50 draft pick in Henderson, and you better believe they’re going to use him.
Rhamondre Stevenson is technically the starting running back on New England’s depth chart. But Henderson has been a standout all preseason. His home-run ability makes this a tremendously attractive prop, as he could rack up a bulk of yards even with limited carries.
If rookie quarterback Drake Maye stabilizes the Patriots’ offense the way many expect, look for Henderson to surpass 701 rushing yards with ease.
