Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red brands’ growth was acknowledged by TaylorMade CEO David Abeles. The American legendary golfer launched the brand in 2024 in collaboration with TaylorMade, and last week, in an interview with Front Office Sports at the PGA Show, Abeles opened up about the growth of the brand.
He said the “revenues” had “grown faster” than their expectations. He said:
Thanks for the submission!
“Our revenues have grown faster than we ever could have ever expected. They’re truly remarkable. We’ve exceeded all of our revenue projections.”
Moreover, the league is also engaging and working on adding more players. They are looking forward to expanding a full roster of athletes who can wear their product during games.
“We’re absolutely working with more tour players to determine who can fit that criteria and those brand standards,” Abeles said. “We’ll build a wonderful unified team, much like we have at TaylorMade.”
“……I’m very excited about finding a female athlete that could represent our brand and do it the same way that we’ve discussed,” he added. “So, signing tour players is part of our strategy. But we’re going to be very methodical to make sure we pick tour players that can model our brand, model our values, and bring us to market the way Tiger and Karl have.”
Currently, Karl Vilips is the brand ambassador of Sun Day Red. He dons the brand on the greens. He signed with the brand in February 2025 and has been impressive with his game so far.
Vilips won the Puerto Rico Open last year and played this week at The American Express. He settled in a tie for 18th place in the PGA Tour event. Scottie Scheffler had won the event.
Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red shares excitement for their new “Presidio” launch

Tiger Woods’ Sun Day Red is preparing for the launch of the Presidio. The new spikeless shoe collection will arrive on Feb. 17. They shared good news by sharing a post on their X (formerly Twitter) account on Jan. 24 with a caption:
“Power starts from the ground up, with an advantage you can feel. It starts with a shoe that doesn’t just grip – it connects. The Presidio arrives 2.17.26. #SundayRed,”
Tiger Woods is often seen wearing Sun Day Red outfits. However, the American golfer is currently away from the field. He did not play in any tournament on the PGA Tour last season.
Fans are anxiously waiting for Tiger Woods to return to play on the greens. He turned 50th last month and is now also eligible to compete on the PGA Tour Champions. It would be interesting to see if he plays on the senior tour this year.
