Mareux tells TMZ … UMG saying they’re pulling songs from TikTok to assist artists financially is shady … he says if UMG actually cared about their artists they’d beef up their contracts, not destroy their limitless alternatives on TikTok.
The best way Mareux sees it … artists getting their music built-in into TikTok posts is a superb advertising software. He says the publicity generated on TikTok can actually change an artist’s profession, prefer it did for him.
Mareux says UMG is simply being plain grasping right here … and he feels unhealthy for the lesser-known artists who had been counting on TikTok to market their music … telling us they have to be feeling tremendous pressured.
