TikTok Sets Dedaline for the Switch to its ‘ikTok One’ Creative Suite

A quick reminder: TikTok will soon replace its Creative Center, including its Creator Marketplace, with its new “TikTok One” platform.

TikTok World

TikTok One, which was originally announced at its “TikTok World” event last May, will provide a more centralized home for all of TikTok’s creative tools, including analytics, campaign creation, Creative Challenges, and more. Which also includes its current Creator Marketplace, TikTok’s discovery tool that connects creators with brands.

And TikTok is now looking to enact the change that will see TikTok One become the primary space for managing your various campaign elements.

As per TikTok:

“As part of our transition to TikTok One, we are beginning the process of sunsetting the legacy TikTok Creator Marketplace platform. All of your favorite TikTok Creator Marketplace functionality, as well as your past campaigns, will all be available in your upgraded TikTok One account.”

The first stage of the update comes into effect on March 1st, when Creator Marketplace will no longer enable the creation of new campaigns, nor will it allow creator applications.

Then on April 1st, Creator Marketplace will no longer be functional, and will redirect to TikTok One.

Current marketplace users can upgrade their account by logging into the app and tapping through on the in-stream notifications, which again, will become mandatory by April. So, one way or another, you’re going to end up with a TikTok One account, so it’s not urgent, as such, but you do need to enable permissions and connection to your previous account info.

The change will provide more creator tools in one place, and could make it easier to manage the various aspects of your TikTok campaigns.

And if you’re looking to work with creators, it’s definitely worth getting your head around the new platform, and how all the various elements connect in the new app.
