Titans quarterback Will Levis sustained an apparent right shoulder injury Monday night during the first quarter of Tennessee’s contest against the Miami Dolphins and was listed as questionable to return.

Mason Rudolph replaced Levis and guided the Titans to three first-half field goals and 10 third-quarter points. Tennessee led 19-6 entering the final quarter in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Levis was injured while diving to get extra yardage on a scramble to his right. He stretched out both arms with the ball and landed hard on the shoulder out of bounds with just more than seven minutes left in the first quarter. He was marked short of the first down.

When the Titans next had the ball with 4:14 left in the quarter, Rudolph was the quarterback.

Tennessee coach Brian Callahan told ESPN at halftime that Levis would return to the game if deemed healthy. However, Rudolph was back in the game for the entire third quarter as Levis stood on the sideline with his helmet on.

Levis threw his sixth interception of the season before departing the game. Entering the week, he led the league in turnovers with eight, including three lost fumbles. He completed 3 of 4 passes for 25 yards on Monday.
