Tommy Fleetwood has often spoken highly of Tiger Woods in the past, labeling the legend the “best player” he has ever played with. Now, the 2025 FedEx Cup winner has seemingly followed the footsteps of the legendary golfer to end his partnership with a popular company.
Woods was in a partnership with sports apparel and footwear brand Nike for years. However, the 15-time major champion ended that in 2024. Now, reports indicate that Tommy Fleetwood may have ended his partnership with Nike as well.

Recently, the English professional was spotted wearing Lululemon apparel at the Dubai Invitational instead of his usual Nike attire. Golfmagic reported that the 34-year-old professional ditched his usual Nike Gloves and used TaylorMade Gloves instead.
NUCLR GOLF shared a picture of Tommy Fleetwood in his Lululemon polo shirt on X and wrote:
“❌👕 #END OF AN ERA… Tommy Fleetwood appears to be moving on from Nike Golf after over a decade with the company. Although nothing has been made official yet, Fleetwood was spotted wearing Lululemon apparel in Dubai.”
Take a look at NUCLR GOLF’s X post here:
Fleetwood started his partnership with Nike Golf in 2010 and proudly sported its golf equipment. After Nike left the sport in 2016, the eight-time DP World Tour winner sported only apparel and footwear from the brand.
Fleetwood has yet to comment on the speculations. In the past, the golfer has shared his take on Nike apparel, complimenting the company’s products.
When Tommy Fleetwood felt ‘lucky’ for his partnership with Nike
Tommy Fleetwood once got an opportunity to pick his favorite apparel from the brand. In 2017, the pro joined TRENDYGOLF, where he chose Nike outfits of the week, and one of those included a pair of relaxed joggers.
In a press release, Fleetwood lauded Nike for staying ahead of the curve and appreciated the company’s support. He stated:
“I’m very lucky to have Nike behind me – they are so far ahead of the game. They always want to try new things so if you are looking to try something new, Nike is the company to do it with. You can try out all kinds of new things because they are trying it. They are brilliant at it.”
Fleetwood’s praise for Nike did not stop at apparel. For the unversed, he has admitted playing with Nike Irons long after the company left golf. In an old interview, the golfer also stated that he loved the set of irons manufactured by the sportswear giant.
