One of the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ top concerns is Donovan Mitchell‘s future. The NBA player, who will make $50.1 million in 2026–2027, is still under contract. Mitchell can decide on what to do with his future the following season with his $53.8 million player option.
According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick, Mitchell is eligible to sign a four-year, $277 million extension this summer. Or he could wait until the next offseason and sign a five-year, $358.6 million extension to stay with the Cavaliers.
