Major League Soccer returns with a fresh set of fixtures as Toronto FC and FC Cincinnati go head-to-head on Saturday. Having won their last four visits to the BMO Field, Pat Noonan’s men will look to extend this impressive four-year streak and snap their run of four consecutive defeats on the road.
Toronto FC turned in a fine show of fighting spirit against Colorado Rapids last Saturday when they fought back from two goals down in the second half to secure a 3-2 victory at BMO Field.
Thanks for the submission!
Robin Fraser’s side have gone unbeaten in their last four games, claiming three wins and one draw since stumbling into the new season with consecutive defeats against Dallas FC and Vancouver Whitecaps.
Toronto FC have picked up 10 points from the first 18 available to sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings, level on points with New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire.
On the other hand, FC Cincinnati were left empty-handed once again as they suffered a 4-2 defeat against New York Red Bulls when the two sides met at the Red Bull Arena last Sunday.
With that result, Noonan’s men have lost three of their most recent four matches, including a 5-1 hammering against Mexican outfit Tigres UANL in the CONCACAF Champions Cup on March 20.
Cincinnati have picked up six points from six games in what has been a slow start to the season and currently sit 10th in the East, level on points with ninth-placed New England Revolution.
Toronto FC vs FC Cincinnati Head-To-Head and Key Numbers
- With nine wins from the last 15 meetings between the sides, Cincinnati have a superior record in the history of this fixture.
- Toronto FC have picked up five wins in that time, while the two teams have settled for a share of the spoils once.
- Toronto are unbeaten in their last 10 home matches, picking up four wins and six draws since a 2-0 defeat against Charlotte FC in June 2025.
- Cincinnati have lost five of their last six competitive away matches, with a 4-0 victory over O&M FC on February 19 being the exception.
Toronto FC vs FC Cincinnati Prediction
After stumbling into the season with two losses from their first two matches, Toronto have turned things around of late and will be out to secure a third win on the spin.
While Cincinnati have enjoyed success at BMO Field, they struggled to impose themselves on the road this season and we fancy Fraser’s men to come away with all three points.
Prediction: Toronto FC 2-1 FC Cincinnati
