“Trade Aliyah Boston For Cameron Brink”: Caitlin Clark Fans Outraged as Fever Center Likes DiJonai Carrington’s IG Post

Caitlin Clark fans were outraged on Sunday after Aliyah Boston appeared to like an Instagram post by DiJonai Carrington. The Fever center’s apparent show of support for the forward drew strong reactions from Clark fans, who criticized Boston for engaging with Carrington’s post.

Angry Fans Sports, a fan account, highlighted Boston’s apparent show of support for Carrington on X (formerly Twitter), sharing a screenshot showing the Fever center had liked the Sky forward’s Instagram post.

“ALIYAH BOSTON IS P*SSING ME OFF…. Y’ALL DON’T DESERVE CAITLIN CLARK……” the handle wrote.

The tweet quickly turned heads online as other Clark fans joined in to slam Boston, with one urging the Fever to trade Boston for Cameron Brink.

“Trade Boston for Brink,” a fan wrote.

“The Fever should be doing anything they can to find a team d*mb enough to take on her ridiculous contract. I don’t care if we get a 2nd-round pick. Get her off the team,” another fan added.

@angryfansports Boston is a phony. Another one who doesn’t appreciate CC.

However, not all fans agreed with the criticism. Some argued that Boston was free to support other players and that there was no apparent conflict between her and Clark.

“Stop this…. She’s allowed to like players’ posts. They have no beef. Caitlin doesn’t have beef with her either,” a fan remarked.

@angryfansports mad because she liked an instagram post??? 😭

Despite the mixed reactions, many Clark fans continued to criticize Boston for showing support for Carrington, whom some Indiana fans view as an adversary of Clark and the Fever. Carrington has drawn criticism from Fever supporters for her on-court clashes with Indiana fans earlier in the season and for a hard foul on Sophie Cunningham.

Against that backdrop, Boston’s apparent interaction with Carrington’s post sparked backlash among fans who already had strong feelings about the Sky forward.

Sports media personality blasts Indiana Fever, calls for changes built around Caitlin Clark

After another disappointing season where they were eliminated in the first round, the Indiana Fever have a lot to think about this offseason. Despite boasting the likes of Caitlin Clark, the Fever are yet to capitalize on her potential, leaving many supporters flustered.

Indiana Fever writer Robin Lundberg shared his thoughts on the team on Sunday, calling for changes and urging the franchise to build around Clark.

“No more run it back c*ap for the Indiana Fever. Things need to change and it needs to be centered around Caitlin Clark,” Lundberg said.

The Fever will need to add the right pieces around Clark if they hope to find success under her leadership, as their roster construction has so far fallen short of expectations.
