Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has struggled to stay on message and appeared to be rattled after the ‘reciprocal but not reciprocal’ tariffs were announced by Trump.

Perhaps not coincidentally, Apollo CEO Marc Rowan — who was also a candidate for Treasury Secretary — was on CNBC today.
Is it too soon to get a cabinet shuffle? Absolutely. Moving Bessent would rattle markets even more as he’s seen as one of the more rational cabinet members.
