Speaking on Vince Russo’s The Brand, the veteran, along with Stevie Richards and Bin Hamin, discussed the fallout on RAW after Survivor Series. During this, Russo revealed that a current talent informed him that The Game publicly expressed backstage that he doesn’t have faith in the two-time United States Champion.

Richards recalled how Triple H mocked Mr. Kennedy about being the future of the industry during his prime. Russo added that the 14-time WWE World Champion said the same thing about LA Knight in front of others backstage.

“A recent talent has told me he [Triple H] has said that in the back, in front of people, about LA Knight. He has said the same exact thing publicly in the back about LA Knight,” Russo said.

What has Triple H done with LA Knight on WWE’s main roster?

In 2022, Triple H’s regime allowed LA Knight to return to his roots when he ditched the Max Dupri gimmick on WWE SmackDown. In the coming months, The Megastar got over as a performer, and the fans cheered for him, but there was no significant push for the star on the blue brand.

It was only in 2024 when LA Knight captured the WWE United States Championship from Logan Paul at SummerSlam in Ohio. Earlier this year, he recaptured the title from Shinsuke Nakamura before he dropped it to Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania 41.

For the most part, The Megastar has been stuck in the mid-card division under Triple H’s creative regime in the Stamford-based promotion. It’ll be interesting to see if Knight could defeat Gunther and become John Cena’s final-ever opponent in the company.
