In yet another disturbing escalation of leftist harassment tactics, President Trump impersonator and conservative activist Shawn Farash and his wife, Brennan, became the latest victims of a dangerous swatting attack at their home in Tennessee on Thursday night.
Law enforcement officers were dispatched to their residence after receiving a false report of a double homicide and an alleged plan for “suicide by cop.”
The terrifying ordeal comes just hours after TGP contributor Patty McMurray reported on two other conservatives—independent journalist Nick Sorter’s parents and X influencer Gunther Eagleman—being similarly targeted.
This pattern of leftist intimidation against outspoken conservatives shows no sign of slowing down, with radical actors weaponizing law enforcement to silence and terrorize their political opponents.
For those unfamiliar, “swatting” is a criminal act where bad actors call in false emergency reports—often claiming violent crimes like murders or hostage situations—to provoke an armed police response at a targeted individual’s home. The results can be catastrophic, with innocent people being placed in imminent danger as law enforcement officers, unaware of the hoax, arrive prepared to engage a violent suspect.
Speaking out about the attack, Farash shared a chilling account of what transpired. His wife, Brennan, described the terror of seeing officers with guns pointed at their home:
Shawn Farash: Hey, guys! It’s Shawn and my wife, Brennan, and I just wanted to give you an update. We just got swatted here in Tennessee. The officer said they received a phone call claiming that somebody had murdered someone in the house and was planning a suicide by cop. I received the call with that information.
We cooperated with the police. They were very nice. They were actually very nice. They were not aware that this was happening across the country.
How did you feel about that? What was going through your head when you saw officers in the backyard with guns?
Brennan Farash: I was shaking. I was terrified. I was the only one awake. He was asleep. They were just pointing their guns into the house. I was very scared.
Shawn Farash: That’s it. That’s the point. That’s what these people are trying to do. They are trying to silence folks who are not afraid to speak their minds online. You’ve seen it happen to other people across the country.
We are going to do what we can from Tennessee to try and get to the bottom of who’s responsible for this. I’d like to see the Justice Department or someone, somewhere, get involved in finding out who did this, because you can see—it’s not a joke. You’re showing up at people’s homes with very, very big guns, and it’s very unsettling to a lot of people. One wrong move could create a disaster.
Brennan Farash: Shawn handled it very well. He was very calm and collected.
Shawn Farash: Yeah, because we’re seeing it happen all across the country. We have nothing to hide. None of this stuff happened.
But the bottom line is, if the person or people who did this thought I was going to stop doing what I do, it’s not going to happen. We’re not blinking. It sucked. It was not ideal.
And then they sent pizza. Domino’s and Papa John’s both showed up. They said it was a cash order. That doesn’t mean the person paid with cash. They meant it was C.O.D.—cash on delivery. We would have had to pay at the door.
For anybody else who’s dealing with this—if you got pizza, you’re not alone either. But the bottom line is, I’m not going to stop. That’s not the result these people are going to get.
If it happens to anyone else, feel free to let either of us know on social media. It could definitely be worse. What happened to the J6ers— that was this times 100. It could have definitely been worse.
Our law enforcement out here— the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office— they were phenomenal. Very nice, very understanding, after the whole thing sorted itself out. We’re happy that they responded in that way.
If someone in the neighborhood was actually doing what we were accused of, of course, I would want that kind of response. I want to live in a safe neighborhood, and it looks like we do. We want to thank them. They were very nice. They were very professional.
Brennan Farash: They made sure our cats didn’t get out.
Shawn Farash: That’s right.
To the folks who are doing this— we’re now going to do whatever is necessary to find out who it is and, to the fullest extent of the law, hold them accountable.
We’re hoping that the Justice Department, the FBI, and anyone else who can help us will do so. Because, in my opinion, this isn’t just harassment. When you’re dealing with weapons, it’s terrorism. Terrifying. It’s not cool. But it means we’re over the target, and we’re going to keep pounding the target.
We just wanted to let everybody know. Thank you for checking in. We really appreciate it. We’re all safe. We’re good.
My wife and I were swatted tonight.
We are totally safe.
Thank you to everyone who checked in.
We are going to do whatever is necessary to find out who is behind these coordinated attacks and hold them accountable to the fullest extent.

The Gateway Pundit reached out to Farash on Thursday night. Shawn told us he and his wife are now demanding action from law enforcement, vowing to hold those responsible accountable.
“My wife and I were swatted in Tennessee. Thankfully we are safe. It was unsettling to see officers armed to the teeth pointing guns at our house but we let it play out, remained calm, and talked with the officers about it. Rutherford County Sheriff’s office were very professional and polite the entire time.
They told us that they received a report that two people were shot and killed inside our home and that I had planned to commit suicide by cop.
This is crossing behind harassment. This is terrorism and it could go horribly wrong in an instant. Before someone seriously gets hurt, we need to put and end to it.
My wife and I are prepared to do whatever is necessary to find those responsible and hold them accountable.”
The message is clear: conservatives are under attack, and the left’s intimidation tactics are only getting more dangerous.
