This news was out, here in Australia at least, earlier this week. Trump announcing it now on his social media app. Australia had restricted US beef on biosecurity concerns. At least, that was the reason proffered.
Australia will still get hit with Trump’s tariffs, 10% being the earmarked rate. Australian PM Albanese has refused to retaliate, saying to slap tariffs on the US would just raise inflation here.
