UPDATE: Bron Breakker’s Cousin Headed To WWE

WWE Superstar Bron Breakker’s cousin and Hall of Famer Scott Steiner’s younger son, Brock Rechsteiner, could be headed to the Stamford-based promotion soon. A recent report sheds light on the 22-year-old NFL prospect after his recent suspension in the NFL.

Brock Rechsteiner is a wide receiver who impressed the New Orleans Saints and signed with them as an undrafted rookie in May this year after a successful minicamp tryout. However, he has been suspended for six games by the NFL, as announced in a recent personnel notice without disclosing a specific cause.

Although he is eligible to take part in all preseason activities and exhibition games, the six-game suspension will only take effect once the NFL rosters are trimmed to 53 players. Now Fightful Select has reported that a higher-up from the global juggernaut had already spoken to them about landing the NFL prospect when he’d just signed with the Saints.

Although Rechsteiner wants to give his NFL career a serious shot, he has openly spoken about joining pro wrestling down the line. His recent suspension is also not expected to be any sort of hindrance to joining WWE. And now, with his NFL career thrown into doubt, there is a possibility of him joining the global juggernaut sooner than expected.

Meanwhile, his cousin Bron Breakker currently holds the World Tag Team Championship alongside his Vision stablemate Austin Theory on Monday Night RAW.

Another recent report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter also corroborated Fightful Select’s findings.

Renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer on the latest edition of WON spoke about Bron Rechsteiner’s WWE prospects not being hindered after his latest six-game suspension in the NFL.

Meltzer noted that if Rechsteiner is cut from the NFL, he could sign with World Wrestling Entertainment immediately, much like his cousin Bron Breakker had done after being cut by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020.

For now, only time will tell if the young Steiner is headed to the Stamford-based promotion anytime soon.
