UPenn Surrenders to Trump in Big Win for Women: Will Strip Trans Swimmer Lia Thomas of ALL Records, Award Victories to Females Impacted By His Inclusion, and Much More | The Gateway Pundit

The Trump Administration has dealt a severe blow to the radical left’s trans lobby while securing a massive win for fair play.

On Tuesday, the University of Pennsylvania bent the knee to Trump by agreeing to resolve Title IX violations over transgender swimmer Lia Thomas. The penalties are particularly harsh for Thomas, who stole glory from female swimmers by pretending to be one of them.

The school not only agreed to erase Thomas’s records from the books but also awarded victories to the swimmers whose glory he had stolen. Moreover, each impacted swimmer will receive a formal apology letter from UPenn.

But that’s not all. UPenn MUST adopt biology-based definitions for “male” and “female” consistent with Trump’s executive orders, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism,” and “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports.”

Under the terms of “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” the stated policy is to “oppose male competitive participation in women’s sports more broadly, as a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.” The “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism” order directs the Department of Education to enforce Title IX based on biological sex, threatening to withhold federal funding from educational institutions that allow transgender women to compete in women’s sports. If the Department of Education is dismantled, other agencies will take over.

UPenn must also ban men from participating in women’s sporting activities and from occupying female athletic facilities such as locker rooms. This means no more men undressing themselves in front of unsuspecting women.

Here is the complete list of concessions by UPenn to Trump:

This settlement comes after the Trump Administration cut off $175 million to UPenn back in March after they defied his orders on banning men in women’s sports.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, UPenn made headlines in 2022 after placing Thomas, a biological male identifying as a transgender woman, on the women’s swim team.

Thomas went on to win a national title in the women’s 500-yard freestyle, edging out female competitors over whom he had a clear biological advantage over. In the 200-yard freestyle, Thomas tied with former Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines for fifth, but only Thomas was awarded the trophy, sidelining Gaines.

The controversy over Thomas’ participation led to an aggressive nationwide backlash about fairness in women’s sports.
