The invoice was defeated by 51 votes to 49 with all of the Republican backing opposition to the laws as a result of it contained inadequate measures that they’re demanding with a view to help the invoice to curb immigration to the US.

The protection support bundle for US allies blocked in Congress quantities to $111 billion, of which $10 billion is allotted to Israel. $10 billion is the equal of three years of US navy support to Israel, or half of Israel’s annual protection finances. If the negotiations on the laws don’t bear fruit within the coming few days, the invoice may very well be delayed till after the Christmas holidays.
