Trump hates to the see the market go down.
There is a breaking report about Trump’s team floating selling H200 Nvidia chips to China. This idea has come and gone a couple times in the past month.
There is a pop in Nvidia shares on this.
There is also a pop in the broad market on this and it’s a reminder that Trump can’t stand to see stock markets go down and that the Trump put is undefeated.
Now this report says they’re internally floating the idea and you have to imaging it was floated to get the market higher.
Note this isn’t the Blackwell top-of-the-line chip but Hopper, which is a generation behind. But previously note that H100s were blocked from being sold to China.
