On Wednesday, November 26, the latest episode of Transit Love (ExChange) 4 was released, revealing the new intriguing events and incidents that took place between the contestants. As fans were excited to get more updates from the potential partners and the ex-couples in the show, an unexpected revelation led to heavy criticism against the show and its production team.
On this week’s Transit Love (ExChange) 4 episode, they revealed that Hyun-jin brought in two of her ex-partners on the show. One of her ex-partners was previously revealed to be Baek-hyun, and the two were spotted having consistent chemistry despite Baek-hyun’s interest in Yun-nyeong. Another one of her ex-partners was revealed to be the latest male catfish that joined the show, Lee Seung-yong.
This was revealed during the daily text message exchanges where the contestants are allowed to share one text message with one contestant, and the newly entered catfish, Lee Seung-yong, texted Hyun-ji stating that he wanted to talk to her alone. Given that he had no previous interactions with Hyun-ji or other contestants on the show, fans soon caught on to the fact that the two were ex-partners.
Following the recent revelation, many viewers were displeased with the show’s structure. They explained that bringing in two exes seemed inconsiderate towards the other contestants and brought an awkward energy between them. Additionally, fans also highlighted that neither of the ex-partners was made aware of the fact that two of them would be joining Transit Love (ExChange) 4, thereby disregarding their emotions and organizing the incident nonconsensually.
Here are a few fan reactions regarding the same:
“What will happen after exes are revealed to house, how will they cope bk, ss, hi and how will others react to this situation, this is such a bad decision” said a fan

Transit Love (ExChange) 4 Episode 12 Recap: Min-kyung’s consistent efforts with Yoo-sik, Yun-nyeong & Jae-hyung’s friendly exchanges, and more
On November 26, the latest episode of Transit Love (ExChange) 4 was released. The episode kicked off with the introduction of the latest male catfish, Lee Seung-young, who was born in 1992 and is currently working as a dermatologist. He was also soon revealed to be the second ex-partner of Hyun-ji, who reportedly joined the show in hopes of getting back together with her, and only Hyun-ji was aware of his participation in the show.
On the other hand, during the daily text exchanges, the contestants began to make their intentions clear towards whom they were interested. Min-kyung, despite the rocky road she’s been facing while conversing with her ex-partner, Yoo-sik, texted her ex stating that she will be honest with him moving forward. On the same day, Ji-hyun was also seen advising Min-kyung not to fall back on her ex-partner just due to the lack of potential partners in the show. Here’s what she said:
“Don’t do stupid things like choosing your ex just because you don’t like other male casts.”
On the other hand, Yoo-sik and Hyun-jin expressed mutual feelings towards each other. Another shocking twist revealed during the episode was that both the exes of Hyun-ji, Baek-hyun, and the new male catfish, Seung-young, showcased their interest towards Yun-nyeong. However, Baek-hyun has been consistently approaching Yun-nyeong in hopes that they to leave as a couple from the show. Moreover, Ji-hyun also seems to be giving Won-kyu and their relationship another chance.
A wholesome moment between the ex-partners, Yun-nyeong and Jae-hyung, was also revealed as the two vented to each other about their love interests, and also offered to be each other’s wingman. While Yun-nyeong has been reciprocating Baek-hyun’s feelings, Jae-hyung and Ji-yeon have also started showing interest in each other.
