VP J.D. Vance Torches Democrats for Hypocrisy — Dems Ignore Democrat AG Candidate Fantasizing About Killing Republicans While Young GOPers Are Publicly Crucified Over LEAKED Private Group Chat ‘Jokes’ | The Gateway Pundit

VP JD Vance blasts Democrats for downplaying Virginia AG candidate Jay Jones’ violent texts and media hypocrisy in punishing conservatives for private jokes.

Vice President J.D. Vance is lashing out, and with good reason.

While Democrats remain strangely silent about the resurfaced texts from Virginia Democratic Attorney General candidate Jay Jones, in which he fantasized about murdering Republican lawmakers and their children, the party is leading the charge to annihilate young Republicans for off-color “jokes” in private group chats.

Last week, the National Review and other outlets published a set of private texts from 2022 in which then–Virginia delegate Jay Jones allegedly wrote to Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner:

“Gilbert gets two bullets to the head.”
“Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot … Gilbert receives both bullets every time.”

Additional messages include Jones doubling down after calling Coyner, claiming that politicians “must feel pain themselves,” like the agony that parents feel when they watch their children get killed.

Jones also said he wished Gilbert’s wife could watch her own child die in her arms so that Gilbert might move to the left politically. Infuriated by his wretched remark, Coyner hung up the phone.

SICK: Far-Left Virginia Democrat AG Nominee Fantasized About Killing Prominent GOP State Politician in Shocking Text Messages

The Media Research Center has analyzed the coverage of the Jay Jones scandal and found that out of all of the major networks, only NBC covered it and they only gave the story 63 seconds.

The media works for the Democrat party. There is no denying it.

Contrast that silence with how Politico and its allies handled private conversations among conservatives.

Thousands of messages from a private Telegram group involving about 50 Young Republican leaders from states like Kansas, New York, and Virginia, spanning seven months, were leaked to far-left Politico.

Participants allegedly shared racist slurs, antisemitic remarks, praise for Adolf Hitler, and fantasies of violence including gas chambers, slavery, and rape.

The verified messages, confirmed by screenshots and participants, prompted immediate firings, such as Kansas chairman William Hendrix from Attorney General Kris Kobach’s office, resignations, the disbanding of the Kansas chapter, and condemnations from the national Young Republican Federation.

Peter Giunta, former New York Young Republicans chair, lost his staff position in the New York State Assembly, according to Politico.

The Young Republicans Board of Directors released the following statement:

“We are appalled by the vile and inexcusable language revealed in the Politico article published today. Such behavior is disgraceful, unbecoming of any Republican, and stands in direct opposition to the values our movement represents. Those involved must immediately resign from all positions within their state and local Young Republican organizations. We must hold ourselves to the highest standards of integrity, respect, and professionalism.”

Vice President J.D. Vance is torching Democrats, and the media, for their blatant double standards after revelations that Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones sent texts fantasizing about executing Republicans.

Vance blasted the silence from the same Democrats who erupt with moral fury whenever a conservative says something remotely controversial.

“This is far worse than anything said in a college group chat, and the guy who said it could become the AG of Virginia. I refuse to join the pearl clutching when powerful people call for political violence,” VP Vance wrote on X.

And VP Vance is not alone.
