In another fiery exchange between clueless liberal Jessica Tarlov and her co-hosts of The Five, Tarlov attempted to challenge former Trump White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and instantly regretted it.
Tarlov rudely told McEnany that she was “fresh” or standoffish and boldly disrespectful, after taking a break for maternity leave. This was after she attempted to imply that McEnany wasn’t up to date on the current topics, and McEnany defended her ability to follow the news while on break.
Before the humiliation ensued, Tarlov was spouting off about the 2020 election, calling it “the big lie,” attacking Trump for renaming the Department of Defense as the Department of War, and spewing conspiracy theories about why Trump really bombed a Venezuelan drug vessel in the Caribbean earlier this week.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump on Tuesday announced that the United States carried out a successful strike on a Venezuelan boat that was attempting to smuggle drugs into the US. He later posted footage of the strike and put the world on notice, saying, “Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!”
“In terms of smoking the canoe with the drug lords on it, I don’t know if it was extrajudicial. People have questions about how this happened,” Tarlov said. “Seems like we are going to war in that region… What exactly are we doing? And then, by extension of that, is there a chance that Donald Trump is trying to get us into a war with Venezuela so that he can use the Alien Enemies Act to try to pull off some of the deportations that he has failed to be able to do in the first few months of his administration.”
“That’s a good conspiracy theory,” co-host Jesse Watters quipped before Kayleigh was asked to chime in on the newly renamed Department of War.
“Let me tell you how fresh I am… You said you didn’t know the legal justification for the striking of the ship. I brought it for you,” Kayleigh said before citing the President’s authority to carry out the strike on designated foreigh terrorist drug cartels. “I’m fresh, and I brought my facts!”
WATCH:
McEnany: Go back to the first term, taking out Soleimani, taking out Al Baghdadi, striking in Syria. When Biden said, “Don’t,” President Trump said, “do.” And what you are looking at is a reflection of that. They are taking down defense. They are going to make this the Department of War. This is a president of offense. He doesn’t say, “don’t” because when you say “don’t,” the enemies act. When you say “don’t,” Putin goes into Ukraine. When you say “don’t,” Hamas attacks on October 7. When you say “do,” when you actually do an action, you achieve the respect of the world. And that’s what’s happened with President Trump.
Tarlov: You were on maternity leave— congratulations, by the way— during the Alaska Summit, where he thought he made a lot of progress.
McEnany: Which I watched. You don’t check out.
Tarlov: I’m sure you did. And then Putin showed up, and he’s standing with President Xi, and Donald Trump says, now they’re conspiring against me.
McEnany: How many wars did Biden end? Also when I was on maternity leave, we got to the fact that there are seven wars that President Trump ended.
Tarlov: You’re very fresh, even though you’ve been on leave.
McEnany: I am not fresh. Let me tell you how fresh I am. I brought you— you said you didn’t know the legal justification for the striking of the ship. I brought it for you. OLC, opinion from 1980, Article Two, Section Two, Commander in Chief powers. We’ve got that too. I’m fresh, and I brought my facts!
