John Cena and Stu the Cameraman are one of the most wholesome WWE pairings that we’ve seen in the last couple of decades. In Cena’s final Premium Live Event match, he had an incredibly wholesome message for Stu.
When John Cena came out at the Petco Park for what was his last PLE appearance, a match against Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship. He greeted the fans, and then his old trusted buddy, Stu the cameraman.
Thanks for the submission!
However, Stu wasn’t alone on this night. He came with his son, who was pulling the cords behind him, assisting him in his work. John Cena had this to say to Stu before he made his way to the ring:
“Stu’s got his son behind him pulling the cords. We got a father-son duo going on here at the ballpark! Last PLE. Last time on ESPN! Man, good to have your son here. Let’s go to work, alright?”
Even this past Monday on the go-home show to Survivor Series, we saw the micro wrestler SYKO parody Cena, while there was also a mini version of Stu the Cameraman. The segment was criticized, but SYKO called the moment a dream come true for him.
We’re going to see the duo in action together one final time in two weeks at Saturday Night’s Main Event, when Cena faces either Jey Uso, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, or Gunther.
It’s going to be an emotional one, and it was quite wholesome to see them together, enjoying what they bring to the table.
