What Is The “NKH” Patch On The Kansas Metropolis Chiefs’ Uniform? – SportsLogos.Web Information

The Kansas Metropolis Chiefs added a “NKH” patch to the appropriate shoulder of their jerseys this season in honor of late minority proprietor Norma Knobel Hunt, the widow of workforce founder Lamar Hunt who handed away in June.

The patch options Norma Knobel Hunt’s initials inside a soccer and is worn on the other facet of the everlasting patch that honors her husband, which Kansas City has worn since the 2007 season following his death.

 

Hunt, who assumed possession alongside along with her youngsters that season, notably attended each Tremendous Bowl because the First AFL-NFL World Championship in 1967, which the Chiefs misplaced to the Inexperienced Bay Packers, making her the one lady with that distinction.

“While it will be difficult to begin football season without her, we look forward to continuing her legacy of attending every Super Bowl with the creation of the Norma Hunt Super Bowl Champion of Education program.”

Along with patches for the Hunts, the Chiefs will put on patches for Tremendous Bowl LVIII and workforce captains on Sunday. The captain patches had been moved from their typical playoff positioning above the NKH patch to make room for the Tremendous Bowl brand.
