Mexican social media influencer Cesar Gastelum, known for his comedy TikTok videos and livestreams, has reportedly died after gunmen on a motorcycle allegedly approached him and opened fire while he was broadcasting live. The incident quickly gained attention online after a clip from the livestream was shared on X by @FearedBuck.
According to reports, Gastelum was livestreaming from the Tres Ríos Urban Development in Culiacán, where he was spending time with friends outside a fast-food restaurant. Local authorities reportedly confirmed that the incident took place at the same location.
The livestream captured the moments leading up to the shooting. As seen in the widely circulated clip, Cesar Gastelum was standing with two other people when two helmeted individuals arrived on a motorcycle. Moments later, one of them allegedly opened fire before fleeing the scene.
