Why did you drug Curry?

NBA fans reacted to LeBron James‘ teaser for the new episode of his “Mind The Game” podcast on his social media. On Saturday, the LA Lakers star reposted a post from the podcast’s handle, giving a sneak peek into Part 2 of the episode featuring Steph Curry.

Just as a reminder, Curry fell sick after the release of Part 1 of the episode featuring him. He eventually missed 3 back-to-back games with illness. Reacting to James’ post on X, a fan hilariously warned the Lakers star about getting Curry sick again.

“IF HES SICK AGAIN, YOUR JAW WILL BE TAPPED.”

Steph Curry joins LeBron James and Michael Jordan in a rare feat

Steph Curry tormented Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs with his legendary performance. In back-to-back games against the Spurs, Curry averaged 47.5 points, snatching both games from the Spurs.

After his 46 and 49 back-to-back performances, Curry joined LeBron James and Michael Jordan in a rare feat category. He joined them as the third player to score 40+ points in two consecutive games at age 37 or older. Jordan had 51 and 45 points in 2001, at age 38.

Curry also officially surpassed James in another category. He surpassed the Lakers star for the most 40-point games since turning 35.

LeBron James has yet to appear this season with sciatica. However, the Lakers have indicated that their superstar player would soon be joining them to kick off his 23rd NBA season. Next month, James will turn 41.

Last season, James averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game. He also shot 51.3% from the 3-point line. Without him, the Lakers are the 4th seed in the West with a 9-4 record.
