Wuthering Waves Rebecca equipment leaks: Skill, Liberation, and all talents defined

Rebecca is one of the two upcoming playable characters in Wuthering Waves 3.4 as part of the collab with Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Luckily, her entire kit has also been leaked by Seele, one of the most reliable sources. Rebecca seems to fit multiple roles as she can not only deal a good chunk of damage but also buff the party, and she has a good synergy with her fellow Edgerunner from Night City.

This article covers Rebecca’s kit leaks in Wuthering Waves.

Rebecca’s kit in Wuthering Waves leaked

Here’s a quick overview of Rebecca’s kit in Wuthering Waves:

Normal Attacks

Normal Attacks (Hunter Mode)

  • Basic Attack – Hunter: Performs up to 3 consecutive attacks, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Heavy Attack – Hunter: Hold Basic Attack to deal Electro DMG, counts as Basic Attack DMG.
  • Aerial Assault! – Hunter: Holding Attack after casting this skill allows Rebecca to cast Heavy Attack – Hunter.
  • Mid-Air Plunging Attack – Hunter: Deals Electro DMG.

Rebecca can also enter an enhanced mode called Iron Guts, in which she switches to another weapon in Wuthering Waves.

Normal Attacks (Iron Guts Mode)

  • Basic Attack – Iron Guts: Performs up to 3 consecutive attacks, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Heavy Attack – Iron Guts: Hold Basic Attack to deal Electro DMG.
  • Mid-Air Plunging Attack – Iron Guts: Deals Electro DMG.

Resonance Skill

Resonance Skill – Here Comes the Big One!

  • While in Hunter Mode, tap Resonance Skill to attack enemies, then switch to Iron Guts Mode to deal Electro DMG.
  • After casting, tapping Basic Attack within a certain time triggers the 2nd stage of Basic Attack – Iron Guts.

Resonance Skill – Catch Me If You Can!

  • While in Iron Guts Mode, tap Resonance Skill to sweep enemies with Iron Guts, then launch herself toward enemies and switch to Hunter Mode to deal Electro DMG.
  • After casting, if mid-air at low altitude, tapping or holding Basic Attack within a certain time triggers Aerial Assault! – Hunter.

Resonance Liberation

Rebecca’s Liberation has the following effects in Wuthering Waves:

  • Switches into [?]-Type Machine Gun Mode and creates a Stagnation Field for a certain duration.
  • Rebecca automatically fires the [?]-Type Machine Gun, dealing Electro DMG and continuously gaining Overload.

While firing shots, tapping Basic Attack after a certain time increases the attack’s power and accelerates Overload gain. This effect can be triggered up to 2 times.

  • The machine gun automatically locks onto the enemy closest to the reticle.
  • Enemies outside the reticle cannot be targeted.
  • Rebecca cannot move while using the machine gun, but she gains immunity to interruption and receives decreased DMG.

Big Fireworks!

  • When Machine Gun Mode ends, or Overload reaches maximum points, Rebecca casts Big Fireworks!, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Big Fireworks! can be triggered early by holding Resonance Liberation during Machine Gun Mode.

Forte Circuit

Rebecca can switch between Hunter and Iron Guts modes by casting Resonance Skills in Wuthering Waves:

  • In Hunter Mode, Rebecca gains Crit DMG bonus.
  • In Iron Guts Mode, Rebecca ignores the enemy’s defense.

Havoc Break – Offset

Rebecca can cast Havoc Break – Offset on enemies by casting:

  • Intro Skill · Woohoo, Big One Incoming!
  • Intro Skill · Idiot, Catch Me If You Can!
  • Ratatat! – Hunter
  • Bang Bang Bang! – Iron Guts
  • Resonance Liberation – Big Fireworks!

Ratatat! – Hunter

  • When Fervor reaches a certain number of points, Heavy Attack – Hunter is replaced by Ratatat! – Hunter.
  • Hold Basic Attack to consume all Fervor and deal Electro DMG, counts as Heavy Attack DMG.
  • During Heavy Attack – Hunter, if Fervor reaches a certain number of points, releasing Basic Attack triggers Ratatat! – Hunter.

Bang Bang Bang! · Iron Guts

  • When Fervor reaches a certain number of points, Heavy Attack – Iron Guts is replaced by Bang Bang Bang! – Iron Guts.
  • Hold Basic Attack to consume all Fervor and deal Electro DMG, counts as Heavy Attack DMG.

Fervor Generation

  • Hitting enemies using Normal Attacks.
  • Casting Intro Skills.

Hot Hands Generation

  • Automatically regenerates certain points every second.
  • Casting Ratatat! – Hunter or Bang Bang Bang! – Iron Guts restores certain points.

Kids Make Choices – Adults Take Both!

When Hot Hands reaches a certain number of points, casting Intro Skills and Resonance Skills grants an additional effect for a certain duration:

  • Regardless of active mode, Rebecca simultaneously gains the attribute bonuses of both Hunter and Iron Guts modes.
  • During this period, Rebecca cannot regenerate Hot Hands.

Inherent Skills

  • Your Turn!: Whenever Rebecca gains the Kids Make Choices – Adults Take Both! effect or casts Resonance Liberation, she gains ATK boost.
  • Found an Opening!: Ratatat! – Hunter and Bang Bang Bang! – Iron Guts gain increased resistance to interruption. Additionally, when Rebecca casts Resonance Liberation, all nearby party members gain ATK bonus, and if Lucy is in the team, she gains an extra ATK bonus.

Intro Skills

  • Woohoo, Big One Incoming!: While in Hunter Mode, Rebecca enters the field and rapidly fires while approaching enemies, then switches to a shotgun, dealing Electro DMG.
  • Idiot, Catch Me If You Can!: While in Iron Guts Mode, Rebecca enters the field and fires at the ground to launch herself forward, then switches to pistols and attacks enemies, dealing Electro DMG.

Outro Skills

Good Partner:

  • Summons a Machine Gun Turret that continuously attacks enemies for a certain duration, dealing Electro DMG.
  • The next character gains Wanderer Bond effect, increasing all DMG by a certain amount.
  • Each time the turret attacks, the character with the Wanderer Bond effect gains stacks of Overlimit, increasing Heavy Attack DMG. If Lucy is the active unit with Wanderer Bond, she immediately gains max stacks. Additionally, at max stacks, Heavy Attack DMG increases.

Tune Rupture

  • Havoc Break – Melt Contact: Rebecca can apply Havoc Break – Offset and respond to Havoc Break – Interference.

Responding to Havoc Break – Interference

  • When party members deal Tune Rupture DMG to a target and trigger Havoc Break · Interference, Rebecca casts Havoc Break – Melt Contact.
  • The same target can receive this damage only once every few seconds.

Resonance Chain

Rebecca has the following sequence nodes in Wuthering Waves:

S1) Nice To Meet You~

  • The DMG multipliers of Rebecca’s pistol Heavy Attack and shotgun Basic Attack increase by a certain amount.
  • After gaining the Kids Make Choices -Adults Take Both! effect, Rebecca gains stacks of Street Instinct for a certain duration.
  • The last action in Rebecca’s Liberation gains interruption immunity.

S2) Oh, So It’s You!

  • Casting Intro Skills or Resonance Liberation increases the entire team’s all Attribute DMG Bonus.
  • When not in combat, Hot Hands’ regeneration speed is doubled.

S3) I’ll Watch Your Back!

  • Resonance Liberation- Showtime! and Big Fireworks! damage multipliers increase.
  • Showtime!’s explosion AoE increases.
  • Casting Intro Skills restores Hot Hands.

S4) I’ll Protect You!

  • The stat boosts from Forte Circuit, Kids Make Choices – Adults Take Both!, are additionally further increased.

S5) Borderline Dream:

  • When Rebecca applies Havoc Break – Offset, her Basic Attack DMG Bonus increases.

S6) Maybe…

  • Rebecca’s Basic Attack DMG Bonus from all sources is increased.
  • Ratatat! – Hunter and Bang Bang Bang! – Iron Guts trigger an additional instance of Basic Attack DMG.
  • When gaining Kids Make Choices – Adults Take Both! effect, Fervor generation increases.
  • Ratatat! – Hunter and Bang Bang Bang! – Iron Guts additionally restores a certain amount of Hot Hands points.

Note that Rebecca’s kit is still in the beta phase, so things are subject to change. She’s one of the Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab characters with Lucy, and both characters seem to synergize well with each other.
