WWE brutally trolled a newly crowned champion on social media. The star won the title earlier this week.

On the January 5 edition of Monday Night RAW, Becky Lynch challenged Maxxine Dupri for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The two stars put forth an engaging contest that ended controversially. The Man countered the ankle lock and pinned the champion with her hand holding on to the bottom rope.

Earlier today, WWE posted a video focusing on both stars’ reactions immediately after the finish. The official X (fka Twitter) handle of the Stamford-based promotion noted a sarcastic remark in the caption, calling out Lynch for winning the title unfairly.

“At least she can say she won it fair and square! Wait a sec… 🤔,” read the caption.

WWE NXT Star Izzy Dame had an incredible start to her 2026. At New Year’s Evil, she defeated Lola Vice to capture the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

In a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, the 26-year-old revealed Becky Lynch as her WrestleMania dream opponent. She hailed The Man for her impressive work on the microphone. Dame noted that going up against The Irish star would be the perfect way for her to test her skills.

“This is hard. My mind wants to say Becky Lynch. The girl just like, I feel like she can pull a story out of… I think she would test me so hard on the mic. I would almost like, lead up to this WrestleMania match, just seeing how far like, bar for bar, we can go at each other. And then I just think that she would just lead the way for me. Like, I think Becky is awesome. She is The Man,” said Dame.

Izzy Dame’s triumph at New Year’s Evil marked her first-ever championship win in NXT. It will be interesting to see who she faces in her first title defense.
