WWE: Dexter Lumis makes main title change following WWE launch

Former WWE Superstar Dexter Lumis has changed his name on social media following his exit from the Stamford-based promotion. He had previously made a massive change in his appearance.

The 42-year-old, along with all the members of The Wyatt Sicks and several other stars, was released from his contract with the company hours before the April 24 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Almost a week later, Lumis reunited with Indi Hartwell and posted a video of the former NXT Women’s Champion chopping off his dreadlocks and shaving off his beard.

Dexter Lumis has now changed his username and the display name on Instagram. He has reverted back to his real name, Samuel Shaw. The former WWE Tag Team Champion also used the name on the independent scene following his previous release from the global juggernaut in 2022. He is expected to use “Samuel Shaw” as his in-ring name after his non-compete agreement expires on July 24.

Dexter Lumis penned an emotional message after his WWE release

After the shocking release of every member of The Wyatt Sicks, Dexter Lumis took to Instagram to share an emotional message. He noted that he loved every member of the mysterious faction.

Lumis stated that he had no regrets and thanked everyone who worked with Teh Wyatt Sicks. He added that they felt the late Bray Wyatt’s presence every time during their entrance. He further penned CM Punk’s popular quote about dreaming big.

“Won’t make this too sappy, but I love each and every member of this group. The task we took on together was truly monumental. I won’t look back with any regrets. Thank you to anyone who ever worked with me/us. The @wwe locker room is filled with amazing talent. To the fans of @wyattsicks , we truly felt Bray’s presence each and every time we made our entrance. I would like to think most of you did too… ‘If your dreams don’t scare the sh*t out of you, you need bigger dreams.’ – @cmpunk. See you soon. -Samuel,” Lumis wrote.
