WWE Superstar Finn Balor shared an emotional personal message following the sudden death of AEW star PAC, formerly known as Neville. PAC passed away on Sunday, September 27, leaving the entire professional wrestling industry in profound shock.
The inaugural Universal Champion, Finn Balor, took to his official Instagram account to address the death of his good friend. He posted eleven throwback pictures of himself with PAC over the years and captioned them:
Thanks for the submission!
“Gan canny, mate!”
The caption is a North-East England-based slang term meaning “Take care of yourself.”

Finn Balor talks about his potential WWE retirement
In an interview on Cheap Heat on WWE Radio, the former WWE Universal Champion was asked about a potential retirement, given that he has been in business for almost 25 years and he still looks ageless.
“It’s really hard to kind of think about how I’m gonna feel in the future and how I’m gonna feel with that monumental lifestyle switch. I’ve been wrestling longer than I’ve not wrestled in my life… So I’m sure there’s gonna be a certain amount of grief involved with leaving the ring. How I’m gonna be able to deal with that, I don’t know. I speak with my wife about this all the time. She thinks I’m just gonna go crazy because she kind of thinks I’m nuts already, the way I go around the house in my off time,” Balor said.
He added that even if he retires, he wants to stay connected to the business in any backstage role.
“I would like to stay in the business in some capacity, whether it’s a producer or kind of more behind the scenes in a visual presentation of the show aspect is kind of something that I’m very interested in. So it’s very hard to pinpoint how I’m gonna feel, but I definitely want to be involved in the business past my time in the ring,” Balor said. [H/T – TJR Wrestling]
With Money in the Bank approaching, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and the WWE creative team have in store for Finn Balor in the coming weeks.
